Idag har vi haft besök på företaget av Alexander Johansson. Alex har Sveriges absolut största samling av Kiss prylar och har visat upp sin samling på många prominenta ställen runt om i vårt avlånga land. Samlingen innehåller allt från skivor till kläder, samt alla andra tänkbara saker som kan förknippas med ett så stort och kultklassat band som Kiss är. Många av de föremål som ingår i samlingenn är unikat och personliga tillhörigheter från de olika bandmedlemmarna. Som Alexander själv säger.." Man måste nog vara lite galen om man håller på med sådant"..Vi är böjda att hålla med!! och sällar oss till denna "galna"skara, då vi själva har en ganska fin samling orginalrekvisita från bla filmerna om ARN, alla dokumenterade och har används av huvudrolls innehavare. Alex medverkade också själv som statist i filmen om ARN, så det blev ett kärt återseende av saker som minner om "fornstora" dagar.Alex har på bilden, dagen till ära..Arns tempelriddartabard, samt den mantel, som han använde i det heliga landet.På väggen bakom honom hänger bla Arns dolk, skölden som Ulvbane använder i den berömda scenen vid Axevalla ting, samt svärd, som används av b la Birger Brosa. Vi hade en trevlig dag med mycket prat om film, prylar och annat som gör livet värt att leva! Vi tackar Alex för att han kom och hoppas på att få träffas snart igen! Heil från Viking med Valkyria!
Today we had a visit at the company by Alexander Johansson. Alex has Sweden´s largest collection of Kiss stuff and has shown his collection in many prominet locations thoughhout our country. The collection includes everything from Cd´s , old vinyl to clothes and lots of all kind of other cool stuff, that may be associated wiyh such a large and cult-rated band as KISS is. Many of the items has belonged to the band members and they are quite unique..one of a kind. As Alexander himself says.." You´ll have to be a just little bit crazy to be doing this "...We are inclined to agree and has joined this " crazy crowd"..then we..ourselves have a pretty nice collection of original props from the film of ARN .. Kingdom of Heaven..and Lords of the Ring..all documentedand and has been used in the movies by main cast members. Alex also took part himself, as an extra in the movie about ARN..so it was sort of a "welcome-return- of- good old days"..when he tried on Arn´s tabard and cloak..which he used in the holy land. At the wall behind him , you may spot the dagger Arn used, The shield Ulvbane used in the famous scene at Axevalla Ting...The sword Birger Brose wore..and there is more :)
We had a very nice day, with lots of talk about collections, movies and other stuff that makes life worth living!
